Little Beach, Paradise Point
EJE Architecture are currently working on a 470 Apartment and Townhome residential development with Commercial and Community facilities to be known as Little Beach at Paradise Point in Queensland. This exciting project incorporates New Urbanism principles and is dedicated to implementing community orientated principles of smart growth and traditional neighbourhood development as an alternative to unsustainable conventional suburban sprawl.
The Urban Design Principles established the framework for the Schematic Design of Stage 1, which has incorporated the participation of five architecture firms, DBI, EJE, Innovarchi, SJB and Walter Chatham from the US. This has ensured that the buildings can express the individuality of each architect, in a manner that an overall harmony in the streetscapes would be achieved.
EJEs role in this project continues beyond the initial schematic design stage being the documentation architect for all stages of the project, developing the design principles of each Architects building within the Urban Design Guidelines to produce a cohesive community development of international merit.
