Battlesticks at Scratchleys

Dominic engages with architectural projects that embrace historical and theoretical criteria. As a researcher and Architect, Dominic undertakes in-depth analysis of his site to fully understand their historical context, using this as a method of informing the design process.

Dominic works on a variety of hospitality, commercial, heritage and multi-residential projects in both Newcastle and the Hunter, and has previous experience in residential architecture in Sydney. As well as architectural design and documentation, Dominic undertakes a variety of written documentation for architectural and master planning projects, such as the preparation of, Visual Impact Statements, View Studies, Heritage Impact Statements, Conservation Management Plans, Archival Photographic Records and Statements of Environmental Effects.

Dominic was short listed for the Australian Institute of Architects Dulux Study Tour in both 2016 and 2014; a relatively young inclusion among a list of many leading national architectural figures.

Dominic has recently served as a committee member on the Australian Institute of Architects’ Newcastle Emerging Architects and Graduate Network (EMAGN).
