DIRECTOR
After joining EJE in 1980, Doug became a Director of EJE in 1987. After extensive travel abroad, Doug has led the design teams responsible for several major shopping centre developments in the Hunter Valley. In 1990 Dougs focus shifted to the Hospitality Industry. With a sound knowledge of the emerging licensing laws and a grasp of overseas trends in the Gaming Industry, Doug became involved in many commissions for new applications and renovation projects.
Also interested in Ecologically Sustainable Design (ESD), Doug has led teams of architects in several high profile University projects that had sought to use ESD. These projects included Clinical Laboratories, Design studies, Faculty Buildings and Lecture Theatres, most of which led to a series of local, state and National Design awards for ESD and Architectural Design for the firm.
