DIRECTOR
John grew up in Sydney after emigrating from South Africa in 1979. He moved to Newcastle in 1989 to study Architecture at the University of Newcastle. After graduating with Honours in 1993 he commenced with EJE Architecture, becoming an Associate with the firm in 2000, and then went on to become a Director in 2004. John works across a diverse range of project types including Multi-Residential, Aged Care, Lifestyle, Hospitality, Commercial and Single bespoke residences. John’s talents lie in providing a unique and different design solution to each project, whether large or small, that meets the brief requirements and that takes advantage of, and makes the most of a site’s potential, with many of his projects being recognised with several design awards. He looks to see the opportunity in every design problem and incorporates Environmentally Sensitive Design principles within each project.
