API Heritage Award – Former Speers Point Masonic Hall

November 2, 2015DFWUncategorized

EJE’s Refurbishment of the Former Speer Point Masonic Hall has been awarded the 2015 NSW Australian Property Institute’s “JLL Heritage Award”. This award is made in recognition of outstanding treatment of heritage issues in the context of development projects, adaptive reuse and conservation.

The project involved the complete internal fitout of the building as a training facility for owners Lake Macquarie City Council, and the addition of a striking new contemporary awning to the front facade.

The judges described the works as “a well-delivered and significant project for the local community”.
