Development Approval has been granted for a new Brewery, Bar and Restaurant within the iconic power station building which forms part of the Carrington Hotel in Katoomba. A glazed link will provide hotel guests direct access to the new facilities whilst a new two storey carpark will increase parking availability on the site. Construction works will commence in early August.

EJE Architecture continue their delivery of award winning multi-residential projects with the Grand Central Apartments winning the Residential – Multiple Housing category in the Australian Institute of Architects Newcastle Awards. On 30th August 2012 Barney Collins, Kathy Gresham, Grant Shultz and Jason Condon attended the official opening of WesTrac’s $150 million Newcastle Service Centre and Training Institute.
