EJE Green Wall

JHH Southern Carpark Now Complete

The John Hunter Hospital Southern Carpark is now complete. Challenges posed by the project, such as difficult terrain and the need to incorporate existing structures, were successfully addressed by the EJE car park design which provides an additional 740 car spaces to the hospital. Constructed by the John Holland Group, the $11.6m car park is the biggest enhancement to John Hunter Hospital car parking since the facility opened in 1991.

Central Province Hospital – Papua New Guinea

Former Speers Point Masonic Hall

The former Speers Point Masonic Hall has recently been refurbished as a training facility for Lake Macquarie City Council. EJE Architecture proposed a striking new contemporary awning as an addition to the facade of the 1924 Federation Anglo-Dutch building, which won support from the clients. 25 Watt St Newcastle – Construction Update

Work is underway on the major alterations of 25 Watt Street Newcastle, which is set to become the new international head office of Scenic Tours. This week the existing precast concrete facade is coming down to make way for the installation of the new façade and construction of the extra floors. Cessnock Leagues Club Interior Refurbishment

Cessnock Leagues club has recently seen a face lift courtesy of EJE Architecture and the EJE Interiors team. The project involved refurbishment of the lounge, bistro and bathroom areas, along with general layout improvements and relocation of the servery area. Rutherford Technology High School Construction Progress

Located in the lower Hunter Valley, Rutherford Technology High School caters for approximately 900 city and rural students. As a technology high school, they endeavor to foster life-long learning with the integration of computer technology in teaching and learning. Richard Crookes Constructions is the main contractor undertaking this large refurbishment and the provision of new facilities, at a cost of $19m. The builder is on time and completion is anticipated in early 2016.

Interchange DA Submission
