EJE Architecture had a successful night at the Newcastle Institute of Architects Awards held at Surf House. EJE were successful in taking out the Commercial Architecture Award for Westrac Tomago, the Residential Architecture Award for The Junction Residence, and were joint winners in the Public Architecture Awards for Birubi Point Surf Life Saving Club. Bradken Multi-Function Facility has been listed as a finalist in the 2014 Property Council of Australia National Property Awards in the best Office Development category. The awards will be announced on May 17, 2014.    

Thursday 7th November 2013, the EJE Architecture designed University of Newcastle Tamworth Education Centre turned pink. In partnership with the McGrath Foundation, the project builder, AW Edwards supplied staff, subcontractors, consultants and client representatives with pink safety wear including boots, hard hats and vests incorporating the foundation’s logo. The University’s Department of Rural Health will be occupying the education facility as of Monday 11th November.

EJE are proud to have recently completed the design and construction of our latest executive residence in The Junction, Newcastle. This stunning residence makes the most of a small inner city site and is the perfect solution to the owner’s brief to create apartment style living in a house.

Construction of the new $4.5M Birubi Point Surf Life Saving Club is progressing well. Construction is due to be completed by early December, just in time for Christmas.
