The University of Newcastle’s NeW Space Campus opened its doors to students and staff this week, ready for teaching to commence next Monday. At full capacity, the new campus will house more than 3500 students and 400 staff across the faculties of Law, Business and Creative Industries. The design of the building includes cutting edge pedagogical space programming and high-tech collaborative teaching facilities, along with an outward-looking urban interface that connects its users to the city and views beyond. EJE is proud to have collaborated with Melbourne firm Lyons Architecture on the groundbreaking project, which will surely bring Newcastle’s educational offerings to a world stage.
A New Space Community Day is being held this Saturday 22nd July, with public talks, tours and entertainment on offer. More information here.
